Dr. Xinying He

Dr. Xinying He is a pianist and dedicated music educator with extensive training in both piano performance and music education. She earned her Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) in Piano Performance from The Ohio State University, a Master of Music in Piano Performance from Bowling Green State University, and a Master of Arts in Music Education from Nanjing Normal University.

 

With nearly ten years of teaching experience, Dr. He has worked with students ranging from young beginners to advanced pianists preparing for examinations, competitions, and collegiate music programs. Her students have consistently achieved excellent results in piano examinations and performance assessments through a balanced approach that combines technical development, musical understanding, and artistic expression.

 

As both a performer and educator, Dr. He believes that every student possesses unique strengths and learning styles. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes building a strong musical foundation while fostering confidence, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
